Honduras Edgar Cruz
Honduras Edgar Cruz
A new addition to Anodyne's coffee lineup, this coffee from the Ocotepeque department in Honduras is organic certified and fully washed. Harvested by Edgar Cruz, a local coffee grower, on his 2.3 hectare farm named Finca Piedras Blancas in the mountainous region of Belen Gualcho. Known for its high-quality coffee production, this area is situated near the borders of El Salvador and Guatemala. The coffee, grown at 1,650 - 1,750 MASL, is of the pacas variety, a small and dense plant which is a natural mutation of bourbon and catuai. During the harvest season from December to March, Edgar and his team work together to pick the ripe cherries and process them on-site.
